Privacy Policy
Candle Prediction turns a picture of a price chart, or a market you pick from a list, into a probability forecast. This page describes exactly what the app collects, where it goes, and how to get rid of it.
What we collect

Your chart images
We do not store the pictures you scan. When you take or choose an image, it is sent to our server, forwarded to Anthropic's Claude API to read the candle values out of it, and discarded once the forecast is produced. It is never written to disk or to a storage bucket on our side.
The image itself stays on your phone. Your history syncs to the cloud with the image reference deliberately stripped out, so the copy on our servers contains the numbers that were read, not the picture they came from.
Who else processes your data
- Google Firebase — authentication, database and server
hosting. Servers are in
asia-southeast1(Singapore). - Anthropic — reads the candle values from a scanned image. It receives the image for the duration of the request only.
- Market data providers — when you pick a market from the list, we fetch public price data. We send them a ticker symbol, never anything about you.
If in-app purchases are enabled in a future version, a payment processor will also handle your purchase. We never receive or store your card details.
What we do not do
- We do not sell your data.
- We do not use it for advertising, and there are no advertising trackers in the app.
- We do not ask for contacts, location, or your financial accounts.
Deleting your data
Settings → Delete account removes your forecasts, credit balance and transaction history from our database, and deletes your login. This is immediate and cannot be undone. You can also sign out at any time, which leaves your data in place for when you return.

Children
Candle Prediction is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.
Changes
If this policy changes materially we will update the date above and note the change in the app.
